Cellar Dweller 1988 directed by John Carl Buechler.
A fun horror film about a comic book artist and the creature she brings to life.
Starring Jeffrey Combs and Deborah Farentino.
No clue.
I'll guess Motel Hell 🤷‍♀️

Fred Dekker did this and Monster Squad.
Two absolute gems.

This movie is great.
I didn't remember the ending and liked it a lot. Eleanor's voice over "we who walk here, walk alone."

See you next week, #SundayCinema
Poor Eleanor.
Always alone.
There's a cast and director commentary on the blu ray.

Police announce they have canceled a much-anticipated derby match between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Tel Aviv was set to take place tonight 19/10/25 in the city.

It's a shame that this article will not get the attention it deserves.

Tamblyn says what we're all thinking.

A class act that one, a masterpiece of sound design, I think Raimi heads and Silent Hill nutters (I am both) should flock to this as both owe it a huge debt.

Excellent choice @vickyblue21.bsky.social ME UP NEXT WEEK FOR MORE CREEPS! YAY!

I enjoyed that. Always do. Thank you both for joining and over to @fuddymunster.bsky.social for our next pick.
Yeah it definitely inspired future horror directors
Poor Nell.
She wasn't strong enough. Too damaged.
She shouldn't and she is. But there's sometimes she's just so mean.
But I get it.
I was thinking same with the pov shot going up the staircase

I.always wonder which character we are meant to sympathise with.
it's usually Theo for me.

I don't like Nell.
Julie Harris and Claire Bloom are both fantastic

Because of that hand scene. (Whose hand was I holding) I couldn't sleep with my arms out of the covers for years. Still get it a touch .

It freaked me out.

This also reminds me of the Stephen King mini series Rose Red. Which I also though creepy.

And obviously The Haunting of Hill House.

If you haven't I recommend both.
Very. And the camera angles. The reflection from the mirror in the middle of the scene.
