I see.

Well, once more, it can't possibly be worse than Bleach's "this all happens roughly during the school arc" explanation for about 4 different filler arcs.
Is this one of those "happens sometime in the past before the Big Ongoing Event but everyone has their current-time powerups" kind of filler arc?
I keep seeing my cat everywhere. This sucks.

It seems pointless to fact check someone saying "curry isn't proper British food like fish and chips", just like it's futile to correct someone saying "there are no pronouns in the Bible". They haven't made a mistake. What they're saying is, "Britain is a white country".

It’s tiresome at this point, but again, their entire pitch is “wouldn’t it be great if there were no such things as talent, craft, and skill,” and what that means is a bland, slop-filled world. www.businessinsider.com/marc-andrees...

It never feels like you're actually meant to fight outside boss battles specifically designed for the system. But then it throws a bunch of random mobs at you.

It's deceptively different from RE8, which is designed all around having to deal with a bunch of mobs and big monsters.
I've always been of the opinion that the leech enemies were an afterthought. To add more challenge or tension or something. But the game isn't built around their constant wiggling.

Hell, Jack himself is VERY easy to hit by design, which adds to the tension because he will pursue and barely flinch.

heartbroken to learn the pope sympathizes with the poor. how can i continue to believe in god
With RE7, I'd say it's not a matter of skill per se, but that regular enemies suck ass.
Was going to add RE7 and RE8 but I don't know at what point being *too much* of a standard fps starts counting or not as having a "combat system"
For as clunky as they are, I think the original Resident Evil trilogy counts. Having to deal with changing camera angles, stopping to aim, how you're never sure where you're aiming, it keeps you on your toes.

sad to think about a "wikipedia era" internet retrospectively. i would never forgive the world
wikipedia's data shows that AI is siphoning traffic away from the site, which is a danger to its sustainability. ironically Wikipedia is more important than ever to users who want reliable information instead of slop, and to AI companies that need it for training data www.404media.co/wikipedia-sa...

My cat passed away. His name was Ulysses.

He was a good boy. Was with us for 12 years, almost to the day.

I'll miss him.
I meant to say my cat.
My car was hospitalized for 4 days. They finally thought he was good enough to come back home.

First night back, he starts shaking and convulsing. They don't know what's wrong with him at the vet.

He's alive, for now, but I preemptively said my goodbyes. I just don't want him to suffer.
I remember a lot of retroactively trying to make awful people seem better or be redeemed in the latter half of Naruto. It happens enough that I didn't even remember Gaara's dad.

Learned that an anonymous outside expert on submersibles did an interview with the OceanGate Titan investigation, and they released a transcript, with all the names redacted. The first line of his first answer? "I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic."
