Trump is innumerate.

The whole world is watching.

It’s embarrassing.

Trump on MBS: "He's investing $1 trillion into the United States." (The entire GDP of Saudi Arabia is $1.1 trillion, so yeah, this isn't happening)

Listen…If y’all want to talk honesty, then let’s be honest about all of it.

The promises, the hypocrisy, the receipts.

Because what you campaigned on and what you’re doing? Two very different things.

I will never forget having to edit Jamal’s final, posthumous piece for the Washington Post, after he was murdered.

He was calling for free expression in the Arab world. You can read it here :

Opinion | Jamal Khashoggi: What the Arab world needs most is free expression
The Arab world needs a modern version of the old transnational media so citizens can be informed about global events.

It's worth mentioning: 40 million Americans receiving SNAP benefits is a population greater than the total population of Canada!

This is a true failure of American capitalism and American Democracy.

Keep voting for the correction! Reverse the permanent tax cuts for the 1%.

Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Poverty seems to help with the rise of fascism, so it's perhaps not surprising that America in its post 2008 decline, after further economic hits due to the ongoing pandemic, is sliding quickly toward authoritarian leaders who promise prosperity (but only deliver it to the already wealthy).

"40 million Americans receiving SNAP is a population greater than the total population of Australia."; too!

And yet America voted for The Trump Crime Family...twice!

Truly amazing, but there it is.
Absolutely true: Americans harm themselves believing they are harming others.

A reminder: The Attorney General of the United States should be the people's lawyer, not the president's personal attorney. The Department of Justice should act to protect the public, not just the occupant of the Oval Office and his political allies.

I want to take a moment to thank the entire Elias Law Group team who worked on the Texas redistricting case as well as our fearless clients. The thirteen Black and Latino voters we represented stood up to challenge Texas's unprecedented mid-decade redistricting. We all ow them a debt of gratitude.

Correction. It's a "will-to-distribute" issue.
Too much money supply in the hands of the 1%.
With more money supply in the hands of the 99% there will be more perceived & real opportunity 4 the 99% & 1%.
Think like Mitch McConnell but apply 2 the 1%: "They will get over it."Same for restoring ROE.

Time and again, Trump's agents are using excessive force that “shocks the conscience.”

Just this week, they violently tore a teacher—with legal work authorization—from a preschool as children watched on in horror.

I'm demanding investigations. Trump has gone too far.

If Trump believes war is necessary, he must bring his case to Congress and prove why it's worth turning more moms and dads into Gold Star parents.

Let Congress debate. Let us vote. It's our duty.

It’s just plain stupid to encourage our most experienced controllers to quit, given the job’s rigorous training requirements and the shortage of controllers.

We should be trying to retain our most experienced controllers, not slandering them and pushing them to leave their careers early.
JUST IN: With air traffic control system that was straining before the shutdown, Trump urges any controllers who sicked out to quit, perhaps ahead of the upcoming holidays

Trump said he'd “bring the cost of everything way down" on day one.

Well, it's been nearly a year—and Illinois families are spending $766 more on basic necessities due to inflation.

This might be pennies to his billionaire buddies. But it's a gut punch for the middle class.

Donald Trump must confirm if this estimate is true and disclose the full total he's burned through with his unlawful military deployment into our cities.

The American people deserve to know.

Corporate tax cuts.
Estate tax cuts.
Overseas income tax cuts.
Pass through business tax cuts.

These are all tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy that Trump wasn’t willing to let expire.

But ACA tax credits to protect health care? Forget about it.
