I'd be OK with #MNUFC pursuing this on a non-DP or limited GAM deal. He's 35 years old this month. One year with an option for 2027 around Dotson's old salary level ($625k) would make him an excellent signing, but I'm not sure he would sign for that amount.
Posted by DC United forward Christian Benteke, on his personal Instagram.

I truly cannot think of another case in MLS history where a higher-paid, more productive & effective player was so badly squandered by the team that signed him. Really, a total shame.

Unlimited supply of saliva to go with that acquisition.
Sources: CF Montréal finalizing deal to acquire center back Brayan Vera from Real Salt Lake.

Deal is for $1.5m GAM.

Thing is, I think TF is right. Watched Sunderland-Bournemouth earlier in the day and the way Sunderland supporters responded to going 0-2 down was night and day.

You can be frustrated without being derogatory. The lack of fight in the 1st half was contributed to by the negative supporters. #COYS

Unreleated to everything else, I find it amusing that Lane Kiffin is trying to figure out whether his non-college-attending kids should go to school in... (checks notes) Louisiana or Mississippi.

One of the supposed lessons of Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan was subjecting troops to risk of injury and death without a clear objective. When we left all 3, it was hard to say we left any of the places better off.

Smaller scale, U.S. soil, same problem, same likely outcome.

Also worth mentioning... #COYS remaining UCL matches are home to Slavia Prague and Dortmund, away to Eintracht. If they can manage 6 or 7 pts they'll finish with 14-15, which was enough for a top half R24 berth last year. 9 points gives them 17, which would earned a bye last year. Certainly do-able.

I'd argue last night from #COYS is the way out. TBF all 3 of Vitinha's goals were a little lucky (class, yes, but also that first shot was hard to repeat, the 2nd was pure luck- Lolo had turned sideways, and the 3rd was Cuti unluckily having the ball hit his arm). 1/

Two more Post-Mortems:

LAFC have a world-historically great duo to build around, and will have a new coach to help do it.

Minnesota United? Well, not to say I was right, but... they sure did prove me right!

ADO Den Haag using Radar Love to fire up the home supporters. And shooting off paper streamers as part of the tifo (cc: @darkcloudva.bsky.social ). Kind of cool, though maybe not so environmentally friendly.

Come on you storks. Supporters of bird-named footy clubs stand united!

Think Duggan has a lot of promise, but also one of Ramsay's errors in these playoffs was playing him instead of Romero. His whiff led to Seattle's 2nd goal in game 3 and his lack of awareness/hustle led to the assist in SD. Not giving up on Duggan for this, but don't get why Romero wasn't out there.
Duggan… get position and escort the ball over the goal line. Bad.

I totally get and actually endorse Tani’s sale. It was great money to make the team better, and the kid earned his chance to go to Europe.

But we win that game with him and it’s not even close. #MNUFC

Very eerie how that SDFC goal looked compared to Austin’s winner in the USOC semi. Both times #MNUFC had a defender give up on a ball to the goal line in a wide space.

I am in Europe for the #MNUFC match, I still got up at 4 AM local time to watch, and I already consider it a loss that I need to listen to Brian Dunseth at this ungodly hour.
November 25, 2025 at 3:04 AM
My one comment on today’s #COYS debacle is that I think the way the team digs itself out of this is the players march into Frank’s office and tell him to take the shackles off. Yes, there are holes to fill, but also, these players can play better… if given the tactical chance to do so.
November 23, 2025 at 9:01 PM
I still would argue Game 3 of #MNUFC vs. Seattle was better becuase there were more twists in that match than a Knives Out movie. But this game is a close second. Vancouver's sheer desperation was must-see TV. And whoever wins Monday's game is in the catbird seat, with no CBs left in Vancouver.
November 23, 2025 at 2:41 PM
I feel like LAFC is going to win anyway but the fact this is going to penalties is almost as embarrassing as Seattle losing that game 3 at Allianz.
November 23, 2025 at 5:29 AM
Honestly if Cherundolo wasn’t already stepping down after this season he should be fired for these 11 minutes by themselves.
November 23, 2025 at 5:25 AM
This is a preposterous level of attacking incompetence from LAFC up 2 men in AET.
