There [s]he was, devoid of any talent whatsoever, a mediocre teacher, a worthless scholar, a glum repulsive fat old invert… ballet, baking, cats, and classics (in no particular order). grad student at Bryn Mawr College, soloist at the Charleston Ballet.

As much as I would like to I cannot fit into children's size 12 anymore! Those days are long gone!
these big ballet companies (NYCB, ENB, etc) pairing up with children's clothing companies (Gymboree, Boden, etc) to make Nutcracker collab lines… you have to understand the ballet freak adults would also like a cute Nutcracker sweater
writing about body horror in Vergil and Lucan while listening to Christmas music :)
Hey Jeopardy… bring back Bevin for the postseason please. I miss her joy on stage.
but NOTHING as bad as a fairly established company like ACB and this. Just.......... do they hate their dancers? Because that is how it comes across to me if a ballet company uses AI in its marketing
This is not the only instance; I've seen exploitative companies do the same (touring ones like "ballet with lights" that offer no real artistic value and probably are not treating dancers well) to newly-formed companies using AI for their logo and all non-human graphics (that still look really bad)
AI images/ads are sick enough, and maybe I am taking it personally, but I think there is something especially perverted when a ballet company uses AI to promote itself. You have people you pay! Use their photo! What is this! This makes me hate you!
last night i had a dream they were remaking soylent green and kevin hart was the lead

Patient, sobbing: But Doctor, I AM Pagliacci!
ChatGPT: Apologies. I didn't realise when recommending Pagliacci's epic show to cure your depression that you were the genius himself. I'm impressed! With regards to your initial question, I can recommend seeing the Great Clown Pagliacci.
how is Alessandra Ferri like the most beautiful person in the world???
I don't know who knows someone at the Poptart corporation that is involved with the football game, but I would be such a good Poptart mascot. Genuinely.
I guess I accidentally put a killing of a sacred deer-style curse on Jeopardy at the end of matt's run. fortnight of the single day champions.

(this is a joke)

They have made the world living hell for no reason whatsoever. People will ask why this happened in a decade and there will be tremendous effort to make it more complicated than “they were evil, stupid, and bored”

Remembering this great tweet on the Summer Solstice
I'm sure there are a lot of reasons for a big gap between potential applicants, but it wouldn't surprise me if being intimidated by the potential reaction online to how you look, sound, or fidget on stage would stop someone. It's supposed to be a fun show; if crew didn't stop them, it's no biggie
So many people have complained there are not more woman or POC champions (there is a gap in the qualifying test by these demographics, so fewer people to audition) but whenever they're on for multiple games or they have a certain quirk in one, they are ripped to shreds by couch quarterbacks.
These are normal people who get a neat experience doing something they've always wanted to do. Would you want to see someone saying things like that about you? Think honestly to yourself about how it would make you feel.
I did not realize how insane J! fans can be online until I started checking in for reactions to his run/the week prior to him. While people were mostly nice about him online (with one exception), nearly everything I have seen about Bevin has been so cruel. She seems nice!

But to say West Virginia was founded as a free state and on these principles of freedom and liberty is gross historical revisionism for politics. It wasn't. You are trying to "all lives matter" Juneteenth.
