In a dark corner, in cool greys and bright reds, Joker and Akechi stand close together with their masks removed, Joker in his Phantom Thief outfit and Akechi in his Black Mask outfit.

Akechi is practically wrapped around Joker from behind. His head rests over Joker’s shoulder as one clawed hand possessively grasps Joker’s waist, bringing his hip flush with Akechi's. His other clawed hand snakes between Joker’s elbow and torso, the tip of his index finger colored bright red as it coyly scratches a line over Joker’s chest, right over his heart. The cut is just as red, dripping down over Joker’s clothes. Akechi’s hair is pressed against Joker’s shoulder, seemingly merging with the blood from the cut like liquid dripping over Joker’s clavicle. His brow is furrowed, like he’s scolding Joker, but his eyes are resolutely focused on the cut he’s made, a smear of blood on his lips.

Joker holds his head back and stares down at Akechi with a lidded eye and an almost flirty smirk, his face flushed. He’s a bit sweaty and battered, a bandage on his cheek and a smeared drip of blood trailing from his lips to his chin. His left arm is out of his coat sleeve, wrapped in a bit of gauze. Both of his gloved hands press against his own torso at awkward angles, like he’s making room for Akechi to handle him but also sees his touch, smearing a bit of red wherever they make contact.

The vibe is intensely homoerotic.
