You are welcome to, but human nature is a hell of a thing. Most people have done shitty things, intentionally or not, in their lives. As they acquire more wealth and power the consequences for those things drop off sharply, so there is no reason for them not to continue in those behaviors.

Yeah, pretty much every person does shitty things in their life, access to power and influence doesn't tend to improve those proclivities, so I've sort of contented myself with "All famous/rich people are shit until proven otherwise".

Yeah, I could see that angle. I still believe that is giving him far more credit than he is due, but as distanced as he is from general humanity it's completely plausible that, in a vacuum of information, he's concocted some sort of heroic vision of himself.
