there has to be a middle ground between combating toxic dogma and the post modern nihilistic idea that all forms of structured belief are bad

The rule is that if my mutual posts about their niche hobby that I know nothing about, I must like the post to let them know I encourage the enrichment that’s been put in their enclosure

There's another category I refer to as "soft homeless" where you technically have somewhere to live, but are not in control of your ability to stay.

You're roommates, but your home is a friend's couch, a sibling's spare room, or even a bad relationship you want to leave but have nowhere to go.
“The working homeless” is not a myth. They want us to be invisible so they don’t have to answer for what this capitalistic hellscape is doing to us all.

It’s real. We exist. We’re a growing class of people (which is why folks want to look away). And I’ll never be quiet about it.

Keep Furry Weird.

The furry fandom is a radically queer, extremely imaginative movement of boundless kink-positivity and self-discovery. It is something truly precious and unique in that regard✨❤️🐀

wikipedia turns 25 today! the last unenshittified major website! backbone of online info! triumph of humanity! powered by urge of unpaid randos to correct each other! somehow mostly reliable! "good thing wikipedia works in practice, because it sure doesn't work in theory" - old wiki adage

Normalize taking music lessons from your friends. You get to hang out and also support a friend in their life as a musician. it's awesome. They have a lot of knowledge.
