We report in the kind of weather that is not demonstrably cold, but that is felt to be cold because of our state of tiredness. The sun is not yet where we think it should be, and we are not where we ought to be anymore (fast asleep, in our bed). We must do with the disconnect.

design notes (clockwise from 12o'clock):
- forehead scars are faint
- hair has some natural curl but not super obvious til it's longer
- face scars are slightly raised
- neck scar more like an electric burn
- usually tucks necklace into shirt
- almost but not quite flat-chested
- prefers to float but is perfectly capable of walking/running long distances, even barefoot
- soles of her feet have old burn-related nerve damage (from childhood)
- MISC: "sheeta" is short for "lucita" (not her birthname), normal teeth (mostly), kinda short but not much below average height, looks vaguely 40-50ish, tint of dyed hair + length varies (always short)
- lots of scars - varied, layered
- bangles optional, often forgets to wear them
- underweight but some muscle
- this ear is torn (not deaf but muted input)

current solution is noise cancelling wireless earbuds + rain noises which does work but their battery only lasts for ~4h so i'm often jolted out of whatever state of sleep in the early AMs by the 'low battery' warning. and then i wonder why i'm so fatigued all the time lmao

i can't even file a noise complaint bc 99% of the time their noise output is what most people would just consider 'mildly irritating'. unfortunately, i have the 'even the faintest sound of other people grates at my nerves when i'm trying to sleep' autism and my earplugs don't block everything

i hear my neighbours idling their car in the morning, i hear them thumping about during the day, and i hear them up late at night listening to music/watching tv/giggling/whatever. do they like, actually sleep??? are they just awake 24/7 with the sole purpose of being audibly annoying???

ah, the dialogue transcript in the official art book uses the dub name (lusheeta)… unsurprising, since throughout the book it also refers to the crystal as ‘etherium’ instead of ‘volucite’

anyway TIL that sheeta (laputa)’s full name is romanised differently in the dub (lusheeta toel ul laputa) vs the sub (lucita toelle ur laputa)
