Policing poor people on SNAP & ignoring billionaires’ tax cuts tells us everything we need to know about you.

To all the people who berate those who need SNAP benefits & government assistance.

Do you realize how much closer you are to needing assistance than you are to being a billionaire??

If you don’t support gay marriage, then don’t marry someone of the same gender. It’s that simple.

And by the way – leave the rest of us the f&*k alone. 🏳️‍🌈

A quick reminder that clothing sizes are arbitrary. My client today took extra small, small & medium.

So, don’t get hung up on the number/letter on the tag. Just wear what fits.

The idea that youth is good & aging is bad is so deeply ingrained in society that so many people don’t even realize it.

If any anybody calls your support of marginalized communities ‘performative’, remember:

People that are ‘technically’ on your side call you performative because it validates their lack of activism.

People that aren’t on your side call you performative in order to discourage you from speaking out.

Trans bathroom bans hurt women. Because trans women are women. And any non-feminine looking woman is also a target.

Yes, murder is wrong no matter who the victim is. But death does not equal virtue.

In Florida, you need to get your dog vaccinated for their own protection & the protection of other dogs.

But the same rules don’t apply to your kids??

Believe women.

Believe victims.

Release the Epstein files.

I’m still amazed by the number of people who won’t speak out until something directly affects them or someone they love.

I am so sick of the term ‘age-appropriate’ when referring to clothes & style.
What does it even mean?
Who decides what’s appropriate for which age?
Why are we even still having this conversation??

94% of teachers have had to dip into their own pockets to buy school supplies. An estimated 1 in 6 have second jobs during the school year to make ends meet.

The average Wall Street employee got a record $244,700 bonus last year.

Something has gone terribly wrong.

Pay attention to the small businesses who are willing to share their values.

They’re taking a risk because they might lose business. But they also know what’s important. So support them any way you can.

A quick reminder that how you feel in your outfit is more important than what anyone else thinks.
So please don’t gauge whether an outfit was ‘cute’ based on whether or not you got a compliment.

To all the style influencers who are sharing cute outfits for the Fourth of July:

Seriously??!

A quick reminder on the past day of Pride.

Tomorrow isn’t when you stop supporting LGBTQ people, causes, businesses, etc. It’s when you take what you’ve learned this month to support LGBTQ all year long 🏳️‍🌈

In all the scenarios I ever considered of how my life would go, I never thought that I would be living through the fall of democracy.

And I know that’s probably privileged, but it just never entered my head.

If you’ve been ‘protecting your peace’ with regular activism - and then taking time off to rest & regroup - thank you.

If you’ve been ‘protecting your peace’ by ignoring what’s going on & pretending like everything is normal - you misunderstood the assignment.

Saying “I don’t discuss politics” is not an excuse to avoid talking about human rights.

Anti-trans parents: do you realize the recent SCOTUS ruling upholding the ban on gender-affirming care is just a step? It's a step towards them not allowing you to make decisions for your kids if they don't agree with you.

Please don't see this as victory – it’s a leap down a very slippery slope.

I’ve gained some weight since last summer. And you know what I did? I bought some new pants.

No, no one is excited when last year’s summer clothes don’t fit. But don’t let it define this summer.

If you need a couple new things, get them.
