Another reminder that the Scandinavian and Jutland peninsula is not this socialist utopia people make it out to be. Of course, here, in the U.S., we have our own systemic racism in the child welfare system, too, but this is a whole other level. Yet, I am not surprised.

Complete disappointment, but not surprised. Then again, he and his wife, Iris Weinshall, abandoned his daughter, her classmates, and the teachers (including me), right after 9/11, when we were promised the garbage barge with the WTC debris would be removed from Stuyvesant High School when it wasn't.

During circle time today, my daughter's class processed seeing a man get detained by ICE outside of their school.
Last week ICE pulled guns outside of my 7 y.o school. Today, it was outside of my 10 y.o's school.
Repubs want us to fear adults in drag around kids, I'm afraid of ICE agents in masks.
