All of this is why I think yesterday should be a bigger story, at the very least in the local media. The cynic in me does think it may possibly be related to Everton outdrawing Liverpool, the key people won’t like that development.

It’s definitely harder because we don’t have Arsenal’s advantages - London tourism, Arsenal’s brand being a big name, crucially their women’s team being very good & has been for many years, also investment for many years. A good marketing strategy can bridge some of this gap. Goodison helps us.

It’s still a story because that’s London, and they’re also the only team that does that. Spurs don’t. Chelsea don’t. West Ham don’t. Also they’ve only beaten that once this season, their other 2 games were below 30000.
It should be a big story to be honest.
