1. A blockade is an act of war

2. The idea that Venezuela has stolen land from the United States is so laughably stupid on its face that even some of his base is like 🤨

3. It’s always about oil.

If you want to know why a majority of Jews outside Israel support Israel's existence as a Jewish state (not the same as supporting Bibi or his actions) Australia is a reminder. Not because Jews are safer in Israel (Oct. 7) but because they don't depend to the same degree on the kindness of others.

Some white guys are born more on third base than others though
White guys complaining about their lack of opportunities were born on third base and are perpetually aggrieved that they got caught stealing home.

Twelve Jews were murdered. Responding by justifying it through ideology is vile.

Nothing about Zionism, Israel, Gaza, or the West Bank excuses Jews being hunted and killed in Australia.

That is collective guilt.
That is antisemitism!!

Condemn the murders.
No Excuses!

Antisemitism CANNOT be an acceptable side effect of Israel’s occupation. I deeply believe that we must care for the safety of Jews as much as we care for the safety of Palestinians as the safety and freedoms of all humanity are intertwined.

For better or worse, public figures are judged when they die — their character, contributions, beliefs. It's undeniable that millions have mourned Rob Reiner's tragic death, celebrating his talent and contributions. I suspect when a certain public figure kicks the bucket, sentiments wont be the same

Rob Reiner either made your favorite movie, or made somebody you know’s favorite movie. If you’re a Californian, he’s also part of the reason you or your friends can get married. He has changed more lives for the better than this asshole commenting on him ever did.

new @fangraphs.com: he's no Pete Alonso, but the Jorge Polanco signing can help offset the loss of the Mets' beloved slugger, particularly considering how low the bar is for defense at first base.

Um...what about the loyalty from Pete and Edwin? Works both ways?
I think the only good to come out of the Mets off season woes so far has been the constant reminder that loyalty is something is often manufactured, packaged, and sold to you by management while they privately work to undercut you.

Like, the absolute lack of loyalty from Stearns/Cohen, (plus)

I'd add McLean. Everyone else is v tradable.
At this point Mets can trade anyone but Lindor and Soto, and just hope the chemistry will fix itself
