I have a friend of a friend that I occasionally talk to over discord. We are they obviously not close, but I like him. He’s nice and fun to be around.
I just learned he’s been unemployed more or less since 2022, and that’s just awful.

My wife (psychologist) dropped the bomb on me a month ago, telling me that she long suspected that I had high functioning autism.
I was initially surprised, but it honestly makes a lot of sense and explains so much about my life.
It doesn’t change anything, but I think about it a lot.

Most of the software I’m interested in making either has no business case, or it is rooted in my desire to dismantle some of the weird dogmatism I keep encountering on the job.
In both cases, likely no one would ever pay me to make it, and this makes me sad.

Maybe I should finally give in and make those four skirmish warbands, so I can hold intro events in my local area.
Come to think of it, having enough terrain for two nice looking skirmish tables may perhaps be the biggest work load.

I played #spacemarine2 today, and I finally succeeded in beating not one, but TWO missions on lethal.
The last time I felt such an adrenaline high from a game was the first time I reached the final boss in #hades with Extreme Measures 4 active.
