two painted warhammer aos minis, High Falconer Felgryn (a cannibal ghoul dressed in his courtly fineries) and his favorite bird Grype ( a horrible bat monster).

Grype, a lard distended bat creature. Not the original Grype as the High Falconer has a bad habit of snacking on his flock of screaming bat monsters. The things these nobles get up to I swear

The High Falconer himself, aping the dress of my Ushoran paint job with his red rags and flayed skin shawl like all the best troublemaking courtiers. The jaunty bat wing in his robin hood cap is his own touch though. In the lore he has developed a rivalry with the fair Grand Justice of The Summerkings realm, where they wants to be as far away from each other as possible. With the Summerking's declaration of the War of Red Errantry (Ushoran's superior version of the dawnbringers crusade) they get to do just that.

Felgryn got the job of High Falconer through demonstrating his great proficiency with winged creatures by having them devour the gate guards that wouldn't let him in to see Ushoran. With his new found role, he lives the high life gorging himself on the bounties of Summercourt and annoying the Grand Justice with his larger than life exploits

here's a favourite project of mine that's mostly red

A small army of Blood angels space marines based on the angels of death series' artstyle (where the characters are monochromatic save for their bright striking reds across their armour)

It includes:
A librarian, a vampire wizard space marine
A Death Company Captain, a heavily decorated warrior who has succumbed to the Black Rage, a death frenzy like state
A Terminator Captain, a space marine leader inside of a walking tank
Lemartes, A named chaplain space marine with a jet pack and a skull helmet
A jump pack chaplain
A Death Company Dreadnaught, a space marine with the black rage entombed in a walking sarcohagus death machine
5 tactical marines, normal space marines armoured in red
5 death company, black armoured veterans who have fallen to the Black Rage
5 Terminators, marines in red suits of armour like walking tanks

decided to finally get this project going too...
this is one of my first minis i painted, the plastic retro noise marine, done up as Danger Days era gerard way

ive never been happy with it so im gonna do something about it specifically with the torso model standing in the back

Varrus, a centurion of the heresy world eaters. Their armour is near pristine white, lacking the blood splattered everywhere that usually is found on members of the 12th. The idea is that as the campaign goes along they'll get bloodier and more battlescarred

nothing comes close to like, the corsairs or mandrakes, the brood brothers, beastmen or even the original night lords team this edition for me

i know people who love some of the new ones and theyre the ppl who im most closest to and it makes me feel worse that i cant share their enjoyment at all
