Over the past decade our immigration rate (long term immigration/ total population) to AoNZ has nearly been twice that of the UK (and our border was closed for much of 2020-2021).

I don't pay much attention to ballbag politicians if I can help it (similarly CEO's), but this latest article re: Luxo, is giving the ultimate David Brent, zero accountability, and talks directly out of his puckered sphincter- "senior jobs at a young age" *does the hand gesture everyones thinking*

this was a good read about the MMH debacle, a "NZ based" tech company that's just a front for cheap Indian tech labour is a common tech setup unfortunately. also, fuck these private health care companies.

<rant> I mentioned Venezuela to someone today, they said "well, he's not the best president but.." I had to stop them and ask "oh, based on..?". one thing I get tired of, esp with tech people, is them thinking watching youtube clips and reading blogs, means they understand the intersections of complex topics. we cant see eye to eye when my position is white supremacy is the main evil, and you're talking about "all racism is just tribalism".
