Your read of the day. So much out there about how ICE is marauding its way through Minneapolis but very little about grass roots resistance. Here I speak to a teacher on the front lines and he breaks down the *numbers* of people involved in resisting ICE. Chills.

These 3 labor & delivery nurses bring life into the world every day.

Mount Sinai fired them hours before the current nurses strike. No investigation, no due process, just retaliation.

This is how hospital execs treat the people who deliver your children.

In 2023, educators at Growing Up Green schools in Queens unionized through the UFT. In December, management decertified its union by email, without holding an official vote through the NLRB. We’ve reported the school’s actions and we’re with these educators all the way! https://bit.ly/3ZetXjP

Instead of focusing on strengthening public schools, Texas officials launched a "state-sponsored attack" on teachers, investigating hundreds of educators for their private reactions to the death of Charlie Kirk.

A City Council staff member, who works every day to improve our city, has been detained by ICE without justification.

We are working to gather more information, we will do all we can to support the staffer in custody, and we are outraged as ICE continues its assault on decency.
