This one taught me how patient you have to be to see color in hydrogen, sulfur, and oxygen — but when it works, it really works.

The central “trunk” curves gracefully upward like a celestial tornado, glowing in intricate shades of gold, green, and blue — the result of mapping sulfur, hydrogen, and oxygen emissions into the Hubble SHO color palette.
