Defended in the past tense?
Johnson: That is not the principles of the Republican Party. You want me to articulate them? We fought the Nazis, we defended that evil ideology.
Nobody loves defending Nazis and racists more than JD Vance.

"...I don’t think stupid social media activity should ruin a kid’s life,” wrote Vance. “We shouldn’t reward journalists who try to destroy people. Ever. So I say bring him back.

So strange that this keeps happening. Oddest of ongoing coincidences. A real head-scratcher here.
Holy shit. This is Angelo Elia, a legislative correspondent for Congressman Dave Taylor.

According to @rooster.info, during a Zoom meeting today, he had an American nazi flag displayed in the background.

Man, 1995 was a helluva year for music and just an excellent time to be a 15 year old Tyler. Also, I'm being told that 1995 was 30 years ago but pretty sure that's not true at all.
Still up, I just checked.
I just checked and this is real. It's on Border Patrol's official Instagram (I don't see it on Facebook) and is being celebrated by Nazis on Twitter, as you can see in the screenshot.

The clip is just 13 seconds long too, so it's a very intentional thing. We've got a Nazi government.

It’s incredible that the VT State Senator wrapped up in this hasn’t resigned yet — every major GOP leader in the state has called for his resignation. Fixing democracy requires restoring shame to public life. And accountability. Lots of accountability. vtdigger.org/2025/10/14/v...
Couple of classy Vermonters show up in these chat leaks.
POLITICO: “.. They referred to Black people as monkeys and ‘the watermelon people’ and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies .. and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.

Update: After Bari Weiss was made Editor-in-Chief, CBS News is now uplifting stories from Weiss’s The Free Press.
The Free Press sucks in many ways but one under appreciated way is on the design front. Gigantic dominant THE, squashed at the bottom of the pile PRESS. Just a godawful logo.
Not a political strategist but my gut feeling is that someone running on a platform of “hold all these fuckers accountable for all they’ve done” would win the presidency

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.
