I live in Texas. There is a call from some for Texas to leave the US, “Texit”, because the federal govt interferes etc. With FEMA basically gone, guess they’ll get a chance to try it out this hurricane season. I hate it here.

I started the process of getting a passport in January and just got it last week. Total to request long form birth certificate, application fee, photo fee, mailing fee (I did not expedite) etc was $200. I have no travel plans.
