this 100% is because like, backplanes on switches have 10x'ed in throughput because of AI in datacenters, and people are dumping these leaf level switches for things with more throughput in the same racks

Part of the reason I love dubstep/riddim so much is because of plate/dubplate/pl8 culture and how it directly supports producers without requiring they be touring DJs, and helps DJs stand out by having those one off tracks.

It's interesting how the word 'dubplate' has evolved. For most of us, it's known as an acetate cut one off. For others, if it isn't cut in Kingston by a select person at one spot, it isn't a true dub (People from the Windrush generation who brought sound system culture, etc to the UK would say this)

Health care facility. ~25 computers, half on windows 10, a couple in windows 7, rest on Win 11 Home S.

No domain controller. No password policies. No backups. No antivirus. Fuck even the guest WiFi was sharing the same network as the staff computers.
