It’s Indigenous People’s Day in an hour, and I feel less safe than ever before, not only from multiple unmet needs but also lack of physical safety as ICE and the military occupy my city, yet I’m stuck here again due to lack of resources, so even if I had the spoons to pack & evac I can’t. 😢💔

Today in Portland, a fed shooting pepper balls from the roof of the ICE facility was so eager to aim for people’s heads, that after shooting one photographer in the head and another in the upper arm, they accidentally shot a DHS agent in the head. This photo shows the moment of impact;

I don’t even feel safe going to the grocery store. It used to be from COVID risk, now it’s also fear of being kidnapped by my own fucking government, who are occupying my city. Do you understand how serious this shit is yet and why it matters that you help ALL of us?!

I should have the resources to be making champurrado for those allies who’ve been standing outside for hours in the rain, in the heat, in the cold, standing up for us, but right now I don’t even have enough food for myself. It shouldn’t be like this! I’m not safe, and I’m not ok, at all.

This is also an urgent need as the city I’m in is under occupation by the mil and ICE, and they have been disappearing people for weeks, including people who are citizens, though they eventually release citizens after terrorizing them.
