I guess my sort of hot take about Pokémon in general is that while the games should and could be better, the post SwSh/BDSP era is actually pretty decent

Like yeah, Z-A SHOULD have voice acting and SHOULD have better graphics but honestly the game as a package is solid for me

Like maybe I'm just not that super critical of Pokémon games and some of the critiques are perfectly fair

But coming off of SV it's genuinely such a fun experience, maybe not exactly on the level of PLA but I think it's a good game

(I liked SV btw, but that game launched in such a rough state)

Been looking at people talk about Z-A and it's so interesting seeing people legitimately go "this is the worst thing ever, actually"
