But I disagree that the republicans of Maine will be more likely to vote for Mills over Collins based upon the filibuster. This is an issue the Democrats care about because it is illiberal and DC statehood and Supreme Court reform cannot happen without it.

I read that. It's very problematic, but that is a broad mischaracterization from a national figure. She deleted it so she must be proud.
