Hey. In case no one has said this to you in 20 years:

Everyone who recommended (and warned me about) Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was right. Saddest game in the world (complimentary).

Our heat was broken all yesterday, so of course it's working today when a guy finally shows up to fix it, so I look crazy. It's just like what happens with my physical health!

I know people in Chicago don't like to move in winter, but I'd argue "see how drafty and cold this building gets before you commit" might be a good reason to change that habit.

I hardly know the names of any celebrities, but I will watch 1,000 redundant videos on:
1. EJAE becoming the voice of Rumi and HUNTR/X after being told she was old and washed up.
2. Ned Fulmer continuing to self-destruct his own career.

In response we shared a pay-what-you-can Google calendar integration full of queer history.

443 people added queer history to their calendar.

So we did it again for 2026...

I think it's super funny that a bunch of people thought the video game Dispatch was glitched because they didn't get the ending they expected, and the company had to make an official statement that basically said, "No, you're just bad at it."

Don't you think it's kind of insidious how the world was like, "For safety, you need much more complicated passwords!"

But then, "Aren't passwords soooo complicated? You should let us scan your fingerprints, eyes, and faces! It's easier, safer, and totally normal info for us to have and keep!"

I asked several friends to hang out with me, but then Defunctland dropped a 4-hour video, soooo maybe I stay misanthropic?

BREAKING: This is huge news, the EU's equivalent of the 🇺🇸Supreme Court's 2015 Obergefell v. Hodges ruling.

🇪🇺Court of Justice just ruled all 🇪🇺countries must recognise same-sex marriages granted in other member states.

This effectively legalises gay marriage across 🇪🇺

Every store has been sending me "Black Friday is Now" deals for two weeks, and the discounts are really no better than they always have. Can we officially declare this advertising holiday dead, yet??

Are you someone who claims to be a “trans ally”?

Cool! Here’s your new test to see if you actually are a trans ally for real or just for “social media clout.”

Stop playing Fortnite.
Harry Potter x Fortnite coming in Chapter 7

I just beat The Radiance at the true end of Hollow Knight. I was so stuck on that boss that I played through THREE OTHER VIDEO GAMES before being able to do it. I am so embarrassed by how long it took, so proud, and so FURIOUS that there was no PSN trophy!!

Lying in bed thinking about the commonalities between Weezer's "Across the Sea" and They Might Be Giants's "Ana Ng."

My brain misses being in school, it's just making up essay topics with nowhere to put them.

My dad in TN texted me, because apparently the guy setting a woman on fire on the Blue Line made national news. It's obviously a heinous and scary crime, but is that really the most useful stuff to show nationally? It's not like the guy is in TN, it literally only serves as a Chicago fear-builder.
