Streets for people are good for business.

i really can't get over what rank choice voting does to the dynamic of campaigns and between candidates

regardless of its merits (which seem very good), it's just a healthier political dynamic
Do the right thing: rank me #1, Zohran #2, and DON'T RANK ANDREW CUOMO.

Inquirer architecture critic Inga Saffron published a powerful column criticizing the project’s design and disregard for neighborhood impact.
The dramatic new Schuylkill Banks bridge & trail promises to improve access for Philly’s isolated Grays Ferry neighborhood. So what’s the first big project that gets built? A giant garage. My column explains how that undercuts a legacy of planning. www.inquirer.com/columnists/c...
Grays Ferry Avenue is already a speedway. CHOP’s mammoth garage will make it even worse.
The garage threatens to undermine the transformation of the neighborhood, recently improved by the new Schuylkill Banks bridge.

So this guy Jeff B, an “avid cyclist” who’s part of the new ‘FIENDS of Pine & Spruce’, a group of concern-y citizen-motorists who oppose all protected bike lanes, got in my face at today’s opening celebration for the new Christian-to-Crescent bike path. The irony of our location utterly escaped JB.
