I guess that would be like a rejection of backseat design?

Not to say you might end up at the same solution! It just feels like a lot of the time what people will propose is just a bandaid for a symptom,

when you would know how to alleviate the concern in a way that suits your game.

The biggest one to me (and I've heard others express the same sentiment) is that if someone gives feedback that honestly it's best to discard any proposed suggestion they may have-

and instead focus on what the root of their frustration is, and address *that* in a way that jives with your vision
