Deeply disappointed to hear that the BBC has pushed out one of the most brilliant presenters in all of science communication for speaking with integrity and honor in support of human rights and dignity.
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

A "patriot" with a history of violence and racism dies putting up a flag.

I'm heartbroken.
This was bound to happen, his family should sue Nigel Farage and Tommy Robinson because without their encouragement he would never have been doing this.

Extremely worried for the awful situation of the Palestine Action activists on hunger strike.

Still awaiting trial, some for over a year.

Green MPs and peers have written to David Lammy, calling for urgent action and fair treatment.

I'm deeply concerned about the wellbeing of prisoners who were involved in Palestine Action protests, and are currently on hunger strike.

Some have not eaten for six weeks. A number have been hospitalised. They are all being held on remand - without trial or conviction.

When the Nazi party rose to power, they used traditional gothic fonts because they represented the true spirit of Germany or some such nonsense.

Later the Nazis switched to modern fonts, especially Futura which was designed by an anti-nazi, because of readability issues with gothic fonts.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that sans serif fonts aren’t suited for world-class diplomacy and ordered the department to drop Calibri in favor of Times New Roman, reversing a Biden-era policy intended to help employees who are visually impaired.
Calibri font banished as U.S. diplomacy returns to Times New Roman
Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the Biden administration’s shift to a sans serif font, to assist people with vision issues, a “wasteful” diversity move.

Over the last year, myths about the Motability scheme have spread online and in the right wing media. Now, some of it is government policy.

I criticised the government’s latest immigration policies and stressed that more than ever, the trade union movement must stand firmly united in the face of rising hate towards migrants.

I regularly see terfs, both the "pink ladies" and other varieties at far-right rallies. Standing alongside people preaching National Socialism.

Any woman who had "genuine concerns," has long since walked away from the transphobic racists.
