2025 media thread.

I'm not entirely sure how this is gonna pan out, but I'll try my best.
Why yes, I had been playing catch-up with Kamen Rider Zeztz for the past few days.

I feel like my enjoyment for this is largely affected by my familiarity with Yuya Takahashi's writing by this point.
Good Morning, Sleeping Lion 2

The action's just as fantastic as last time, but the dynamic between Kujo and Akane is not as compelling, I feel.
Netflix Ultraman Season 1

It's a decent enough adaptation, I suppose. There are differences between this and manga (such as Shinjiro starting off with the B Suit), but again, it's a decent adaptation.

I'm not looking forward to Season 2...
Dekaranger with Tonbo-Ohger

This really is just Aoto Watanabe's excuse to work with Ayumi Kinoshita, and I don't blame him in the slightest.
Clevatess

Admittedly, I got into this because of the involvement of one Kiyotaka Taguchi. And for what is essentially his anime debut, it ain't half bad.
Heroman

Now here's an anime I've been nostalgic for since I first watched it on Hero TV.

And yeah, it's just as good as I remember it, even if I'm massively bummed out that we never got a follow-up regarding Dr. Minami.
Kamen Rider Gavv

The first Junko Komura-penned show I've watched in real-time. And well, it's fantastic. It ain't perfect, of course, but I ultimately enjoyed the ride over the past year.

Farewell, Gavv. See you in Guilty Parfait.
Ultraman Regulos: First Mission

Sure it's essentially one giant fight scene, but it's nice seeing Regulos fighting alongside the international Ultras.

Shame this and the Absolutian storyline are essentially on ice since Koichi Sakamoto is pretty busy these days.
Ultraman Regulos

I never actually saw this when it initially came out. It's pretty neat we get to see what Regulos was like prior to the events of The Destined Crossroad.

Now onto First Mission.
Good Morning, Sleeping Lion

Yay, I finally got around to this movie. You come for Koichi Sakamoto's action, and you stay for Kujo and Remi's bond throughout the film.
Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Destined Crossroad (re-watch)

Everything I said about The Absolute Conspiracy pretty much applies here.

Also, Leo, Astra, and Regulos are the MVPs of this one.
Ultraman USA

This is truly the Gundam F91 of Ultraman. Kinda glad they got another chance with The Destined Crossroad.

But yeah, the movie itself is pretty much a 'What could've been'.
Hero Mama League

It's only 16 minutes, yet it's so charming.
Gavan vs. Dekaranger

Can I call this my favorite crossover despite my lack of familiarity with the Space Sheriff trilogy? I'd say yes.

Also, I'll be saving Kyuranger vs. Space Squad for when I get around to Kyuranger.
Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy (re-watch)

While it's nice seeing different facets of the Ultra Series be represented, I kinda don't care for the Absolutian storyline in retrospect.

And don't get me started on how Yullian was treated here.

One of Mangmotion's most recent videos is how I first discovered FreshRetro and their Scene in Box line.

I gotta be honest, this and the Plamoism Hangar from 52Toys (the BeastBox guys) are the spiritual successors to the Kotobukiya Chain Base.

If there are photo books that I wanted to get, there are two of them: Ultraman Nexus - If Only - and the Detail of Heroes Archive.

I wish I didn't miss out on those pre-orders...

As expected more pseudoscience and fear mongering. There are no credible studies linking acetaminophen to autism. Leucovorin has only been used off-label for autism it has not had any clinical trials or proper research for autism. Autistics dont need to be "cured" they need accessibility and support

I'm not even sure which of these two would I consider getting.
