The difference between the US and Canada is that Trumps Big Beautiful Bill is seen as cataclysmic for average citizens. While Carney’s Omnibus Bill with many of the same cuts offers hope. The difference is Trump is a narcissistic vengeful Troll and Carney is a globally trusted banker.It’s a toss up

Skilled trades require annual 4~6 wk apprenticeship courses, often far from home to upgrade specialized skills. The program is well funded in terms of tuition, and a training allowance but rural workers need to live away from home, Who looks after the kids and home on evenings and weekends?

I was expecting horror stories and all the photos were inspiring. The one of the break dancing frog and the circle of ICE officers clapping to the music was the best but the crowds on roller skates with flashing lights were super too. I hope there are still blow up costumes available for Halloween

This video of the "ICE" agent [?] with no ID, who thinks claiming to be in the DHS means he's allowed to drive his kids around drunk answers two questions:
1. Many ICE agents probably *are* just cosplaying vigilantes with issues; and
2. Many think claiming to be ICE means they can disobey laws.
