Baker, love my dogs, my cats, the Braves and Auburn. Posts might be all over the place, depending on the day.
A modern government and economy can’t function if it’s run by people who are hired because they know someone instead of competent career employees who are there to carry out functions established by Congress, not a president. These people are loony.
Who would ever voluntarily choose to live under the demented monarchical plutocracy our Supreme Court is creating for Trump? How is this a remotely rational way to structure a government?

So they cut cancer & Alzheimer’s research to save $ but they’re spending a BILLION $ to improve “passenger experience”.

Someone please make this make sense 😩
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced $1 billion in federal funding to improve the passenger experience at airports. It’s part of a campaign to “Make Travel Family Friendly.”

One of my favorite songs.
“California Dreamin’” turns 60 today.

“We were staying in New York,” said Michelle Phillips, “and it was a terribly cold winter. John had been complaining that he missed the warmth of California, and one night he woke me up and said, ‘I’ve just written this song, and you have to help me with it.’”

Today it is the anniversary of John Lennon's death in 1980. He was just 40 years old.
What would the world have been like if he had lived?
He stood up for others, he fought for peace and humanity, he had a vision...
Forever be missed , RIP John Lennon #johnlennon

What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.”

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.

Mockler: It's honestly humiliating that other countries are treating our president like a child, like a baby. It's like if I created a peace prize and I gave it to myself. I'm like, I'm just going to keep this medal on all night. Our president is an actual child
