In downtown Portland, Unpresidented Brass Band is out in big numbers in their banana suits. Since their clarinet player was arrested at the ICE facility in Portland Sunday the band is “more resolute, actually, at this point, I think, than we were before,” said founder Miles Thompson.

This is Noah. He was hit by a car, which snapped both bones in his front leg. It was swollen, covered in deep cuts and painful. He had a plate and screws installed to realign the bones. He now needs weekly splint changes and bed rest while he heals. You can help him below ❤️‍🩹
