Very short read but good. Getting this review in just in case the storm is bad enough. I enjoyed it, but some of the transitions were off for me. So, 4 star read for me. It you like Clarke read it.

This story, like much of Lovecraft, can be slow to read. It's a three star for me on that and some wandering. Still a good story and can be a bridge to other things of his.

4 star read for me, content is a 5, my issue with it is style just harder for me to like. There are some Lovecraftian things here imo. It's a very good scifi/horror short. Easy to read for free.
