Angeline Era swooped in at the very last minute and has quickly become one of my favorite games of the year, definitely takes the prize of GOTY indie game of 2025.

It's awesome to see Metroid Prime 4 running so well on the original Switch. It has longer load times as you'd expect and it's noticeably blurrier, but I mostly play in handheld mode on my OLED Switch anyway so it'll still look quite nice.

It's awesome to see Metroid Prime 4 running so well on the original Switch. It has longer load times as you'd expect and it's noticeably blurrier, but I mostly play in handheld mode on my OLED Switch anyway so it'll still look quite nice.

Is it really too much to ask more developers to add gyro aiming as an option to their games? We've had the technology for the past 15+ years and it has only improved, but most developers just completely ignore it.

One thing I really appreciate about the Dreamcast is that a ton of games are compatible with the VGA cable and not only does it make the games look very pretty, it also makes playing on modern displays a whole lot easier.

Given the current state of Windows and the likelihood that we'll all be forced to upgrade to 11 one way or the other, I think I might start looking into Linux.

Even if Ghost of Yōtei doesn't end up becoming my GOTY, the Watanabe mode soundtrack will definitely be my pick for best game soundtrack of the year.
