People once again need to internalize that "generative AI" is a small subset of machine learning, that machine learning is a critical tool that you cannot run a site without past a certain volume Bluesky has long since exceeded, and that it is FAR more reliable than user reporting.

The hosting provider I recommended to my last client was I think 6€/month and only 2€/month in the first year or smth like that? They didn't need anything fancy (and I assume you don't either) so the base package was perfectly fine. tbf it's been a while tho, the prices might've changed since then

and also I don't expect that this would need lots of maintenance (if any) -- of course the price can be much higher for fancy features, I'm really just thinking barebones blog, gallery, imprint and nothing more.

Not familiar with joomla but looks similar enough to WP, I'd estimate around 400-800€? Sounds pretty simple based on your description and I'm also assuming they have some decent enough built in backend, blogging and media management
