Back through time to 1964 for tonight's presentation, GHIDORAH, THE THREE HEADED MONSTER. Ghidorah is, of course, a big bastard and probably Godzilla's main antagonist in the Showa years. Not sure I've seen this before. Certainly wasn't expecting a Mothra appearance.

Mothra makes everything better.
Rather lovely artwork of Mothra in full vast moth mode, with the teeny tiny Shobijin, the fairy twin sisters who act as Mothra's priestesses and envoys, large in the foreground. I regret I don't know the artist, or I'd be happy to name them.

Or in "Ghidorah: The Three Headed Monster" where the "Shobijin" (the small twin girls) "translate" as Mothra attempts to convince Godzilla and Rodon to team up to fight Ghidorah. "Oh, Godzilla! What terrible language!" (in the English dub). 🤣
