I don’t usually do this but im gonna do a little self-promotion. A friend and I wrote an app to help boat owners manage their boat maintenance and guest experience. If you know any boat owners send them this link. We can help boats of all lengths. You can find our site here. www.zeafarer.com

If DC is going to aggressively play classical music to annoy community members who want to hang out at gallery place, they should at least employ the same policy against national guard who aren’t even community members.

Why did we have to get the Simpsons timeline? Why couldn’t we get the timeline where Leslie Knope teaches big tech about ethics and Joe Biden lives a quiet life writing poetry about Amtrak.

I understand that part of this is simply being stuck in an old and broken way of doing politics.

I also think we should consider the fact that at least some of these leaders are actually well aware of the dangers of standing up to a fascist and are cowards.

As a cishet dude, when I see a Dem ditch trans rights, it sends a message: you ain't got no fight in you, no principles, just another empty suit.

Think I'm some too-online outlier? Go ask your expensive consultants why people don't bother to vote. It's because they know you're all empty suits.
This is basically the attitude of democrats up and down the ticket and it’s pathetic and unamerican
In a leaked recording, State Senator Elena Parent (D-42) said she’d vote for Republican transgender healthcare bans because trans rights are too “unpopular."

I genuinely think that schools should focus more on intercultural competence than on STEM
As someone who spends a lot time thinking about the values I want to teach my kid (besides PLEASE DON’T EAT DIRT), the thing I keep coming back to is this: I want him to believe that the strongest, bravest thing he can do is give a shit about other people—especially ones who aren’t like him at all.

Ok collective wisdom of the internet. My sister and I were watching The Replacements in honor of Gene Hackman. When the movie ended Amazon started up Legally Blonde. We’re not mad about it, but if anyone can explain the connection between Legally Blonde and The Replacements we would appreciate it.

Good morning.

The House voted yesterday to kick millions of off their health care, close rural hospitals, and shut down addiction clinics.

All in order to afford a giant tax cut for Elon Musk, Donald Trump and their billionaire and corporate friends.

This is insane. If you wonder why some of us think the rule of law is about to fall, it's this.

The U.S. Attorney for DC is not "President Trump's lawyer" and its job is not to "protect his leadership" nor prosecute people who "refuse to put America first".

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

I love that they’re still trying to win the approval of a group of people that ditched them for fed soc like 10 years ago at this point.

At this point I kinda think all remaining federal workers should just go on general strike until DOGE is fired.

I also cannot get over that we’re trying to privatize an industry that was only nationalized because the private industry went on strike for better working conditions and rather than paying them or giving them better conditions GOP Patron Saint Reagan said “nah fuck you” and nationalized them.

I cannot state this clearly enough: this document is a precursor to eugenic legislation and execution of people with chronic conditions.
This commission statement refers to people with Autism, ADHD, asthma, auto-immune disease, and chronic illness as a “dire threat to the American people and our way of life”.

This is a manifesto against disability.

This is the language of eugenics.

For every industry they try to privatize I hope the workers start threatening to organize. Private industry doesn’t get the government exemptions to the right to labor strikes.
It's annoying how clearly this is going to play out.

They gut the FAA.
Therefore, the FAA can't do its job well because it was gutted.
Therefore, they say "The FAA sucks, we have to privatize it." which is what Project 2025 wants to do. They're manufacturing the crises for their end goal.
