The big bikes (450’s etc) are a pretty damn fast - and they keep this up for about 10 laps!
They are great, especially for weekend trips, but man you have to be organised or it turns into chaos super quick!
Honestly it’s exhausting just watching!
Sadly it’s broken at the moment as I need to fit a new exhaust hose! Not too bad though soon warms up with 3 of us and a dog 😂
In Barmouth for the annual beach race. Got the campsite to ourselves, not surprising really at this time of year. Need to leave the van in gear though 😜
Ahh the good natured horseplay at Heysel…. What an utter dick that man is

Not sure but it’s pretty chunky compared to modern carbon framed jobs, but it handles superbly on steep descents, far beyond my limited talents
Did a couple of enduro races on it back in the day - doesn’t get anything like the use it should these days!
Gulf inspired hand made steel framed mountain bike!
I’m determined to get pics against a proper backdrop but house is in chaos with builders at moment!
Far too harsh John - looks good! But if I had a suggestion I’d say step back for a few days then go back to it - you’ll probably find you like it again, or at least get a bit of perspective on where to go next with it..
