The Pentagon’s new press policy bars journalists from reporting anything that hasn’t been approved by the Trump regime.

The NYT, Washington Post, Atlantic, and NPR are refusing to sign the agreement.

Kudos to the media outlets standing up to this blatant authoritarianism.

As red flags go, it doesn’t get any redder or in your face than this.

All politicians, commentators and organisations who care about our democracy should heed the warning, call it out and then *do something* about it.

First stop. Leave X.
Musk has in recent months switched his support from Nigel Farage's rightwing populist Reform UK party to the far-right movement led by Robinson.
Musk appeared via video link at a
"Unite the Kingdom" rally in London organised by Robinson last month, and the Tesla chief executive predicted that
"violence is going to come" to the UK
"whether you choose violence or not" and told Britons to "fight back - or you die".
After the first day of the trial before Westminster magistrates, which is expected to last two days, Robinson posted on X: "A huge thank you to Elon Musk today. Legend."

When will Labour finally succumb to reality, and break the glass on the "In case of emergency, begin negotiations to rejoin the EU" box?

If Labour doesn't intend to adhere to its human rights obligations anyway, there's little point in us being signatories to the ECHR. Better, more honest, for Mahmood to join Reform in campaigning to leave it.

Do Yaxley-Lennon’s acolytes ever wonder how he lives his jet setting lifestyle with no apparent job ?

He spends his life taking the pIss , tempting authorities to challenge him, so he can shout ‘victim.’

He & Farage are grifters in chief . And they’re not using their own money .

The Spectator (owned by GBNews owner Paul Marshall - estimated wealth of £800 million) doesn’t like taxing wealth fairly.

I wonder how they got to this editorial decision?

Let’s tax wealth fairly, fund front line services & make hope normal again.

Polanski is talking nonsense about wealth taxes.

Following the recent attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, an overload occurred at one of Kyiv's power facilities, plunging several neighborhoods into darkness. With winter coming, these strikes are vile, as russia intended. They can be prevented:

We’ve lived 15 years under Citizens United, watching billionaires and corporations shape democracy with their wallets. Reform once seemed impossible. But now, a group in Montana is asking a radical question: What if states simply stopped granting corporations the power to spend in politics?

Confirmed, the "Gaza peace deal" was the same deal offered to Netanyahu and the US repeatdly, but it was turned down by Israel because they wanted to gift Trump (Israeli asset) a perceived victory at the expense of the Israeli hostages and Gaza population.

Goldman Sachs warns Rachel Reeves against tax rises on banks.

Banks happy to be bailed out, take QE, mis-sell products, not to be prosecuted for frauds, hike charges, pay lousy rates on savings.

Need windfall taxes. Raise top rate of income tax.
