Now I have a non-bloated Linux, with a DM that doesn't make me question my life choices every time I have to interact with it. I'll probably be adding Sway as well. I really liked it when I took a spin of all the available Live USBs.

BTW: If Cosmic HAD been ready for prime time, it might have won.

So, I decided to at least stretch my limits a bit, and moved to Arch. But still cinnamon.

I am actually happier with this, even if I had to do a little tweaking to get some things to work.

I have the best of both worlds. Arch is a pleasure for a clean install and easy installs.

I finally gave up. I had installed Ubuntu on my Lenovo laptop just to see if I could get used to it. And I still HATE it!

I normally just install Linux Mint on a machine and leave it at that, since I am perfectly happy. But I decided to see what I was missing with a plain Ubuntu. Not much!
