Not to be outdone, my youngest, barely 18, went straight into the workforce and came home today with a huge accomplishment. He survives first company-wide meeting! Took notes and everything. Love it.

Today I played Walter and cooked up some walnut stain. Is it supposed to smell so bad? Ick.

Through it? Sadly no. But, to help healing after, I found that a theme park or amusement park or circus or something like that, shockingly helped. Laughter. Fun times. Friends. It was nice.

But the funeral still sucked.

Ok, so imagine three snakey-shaped creatures that all branch out from a central point. Two of them, left and right are wrapped around a gently curved ornamented banner, and the third is curled up under all of that. On the left we are looking at a medium blue dragonish snake creature. It has a row of several dark eyes on the side of its head we can see in profile. It has a toothy mouth and stumpy branched horns, with similar stumpy protrusions leading down its spine. It is looking to the right and looking back is the second snakey-beast which is green and striped and its head is an open-mouthed and quite long-eared hare. It has two pairs of front limbs and bunny-ear shaped protrusions in sequence down its spine. The third snake-beast curling around below is basically just a pangolin. Pointy face, big eye, covered in big brown pine cone-like scales with, again, two pairs of heavily-clawed front limbs. and it long, sticky pink tongue curling out. On the banner all this snakiness is wrapping around are the words 'Maybe it will happen today'.

There's way, WAAY, more to the story than just KG saying no. The land owner wants to build it on land protected by a conservation easement and within a few hundred feet of a state park.
