Story time-we went to Hawaii this week to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. My husband saw a man on the flight wearing an NPR shirt and stattted chatting with him & learned that an episode of Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me was being recorded or that he was talking to @benevolentoverlord.bsky.social! 1

I’m helping my mom care for her 94 yr old husband. We just got companion care started because he can no longer be alone for any period of time. It’s an unending news cycle here. They are staunch Dems, and still non stop msnbc and cnn. My anxiety is not coping. There’s no cope left. I’m out of tools

Dems’ shut-down demands should be as follows:

1) swear in Grijalva now and pass a rule that says all new special election members must be sworn in the next business day after their election win, regardless of party.

2) release the entire unredacted Epstein files.

3) get ALL military troops out
