#Sydney doesn’t always host #CruiseShips overnight.

#OvationOfTheSea returned the #Night before her original schedule, due to a medical emergency onboard. She berthed at #OPT, near the iconic #HarbourBridge & #OperaHouse.

I have always loved reading. It was many years before I gave myself permission to leave books unfinished, now I do it a lot.

I think it’s similar to having to unlearn the lesson that you MUST finish everything on your dinner plate.

I recently played a game of #Jenga, with a twist. The #Pieces were huge and we were on a moving #CruiseShip at the time, increasing it’s propensity to wobble threateningly.
It was a nerve racking game but definitely a lot of #Fun.

Anyone who drives through #Bathurst NSW makes a detour to the #MountPanorama #RaceTrack circuit.
Unfortunately when it’s not race weekend the speed limit is 60km per hour & the local boys in blue police it with a vengeance.

In #Suburbia we love putting #Decorations up outside to celebrate #Christmas, which falls during #Summer in #Australia & #NewZealand.

This can cause confusion for our northern neighbours. Of course we’re all cold right now, and counting days till summer.

#QueenslandRail introduced #Narrow gauge (1067mm) in 1865 as it would be “cheaper, faster & have tighter curves”.
This was the first #NarrowGauge main line in the world.

In 2020 Qld had 8,146 kms of narrow gauge track.

Have you visited #Stockholm in #Sweden? They have some amazing metro art. Around 90 of the 100 stations offer unique works of art.
I dedicated a day to catching trains back and forth to see some of the best of the art trail. They did not disappoint!
#Kungsträdgården was one of my favourites.

Kungsträdgården subway station art. Woven through the station’s underground concourse are paintings and sculptures that tell the history of the nearby area.

It’s also known as the #NairnViaduct and the #ClavaViaduct.

It opened in 1898, has 29 #Arches and at 550 metres is the #Longest masonry #Viaduct in #Scotland

I passed these #Five enchanting #GrassRoofedHuts on the road to #Geiranger.
The #Water has come off a #Glacier so it’s a particular shade of green.

Last weekend I went to the #Theatre.
While the #Audience were being seated, a screen on the dark stage displayed visual gags to ‘warm’ everyone up. The messages were highly amusing.
