One flew into my bike helmet and stung me approximately 4 times yesterday. I’d never had a wasp sting before and holy hell, it was awful.
The mosquitos may have died but the wasps are ubiquitous and extra angry.

Kid’s soccer game is at Witter this weekend so you’ll catch us biking on the Duke St. sidewalks. Car is not an option for us.

I know we call them bike lanes, but the more I’m in “bike lanes” I realize they’re “everything but motor vehicle lanes.” On protected bike lanes/multiuse paths in this city I regularly see people on scooters, in wheelchairs, in strollers, and on bikes of all kinds. They’re everyone lanes.
The soggy bottoms are part of the British colonial charm I guess.
I do it for the love of the game but do dream of a way I could get paid for this.
On the other hand, I’ve now gotten 3 postcards addressed to my eldest bonus kid reminding him to vote, and he was only registered here one year, and has been registered properly in another state for 5 years now. But it’s the thought that counts.
