Generative AI is, at root, a pattern-recognition and -replicating tool (it is not, despite what everyone seems to think, a knowledge generator or an answer machine). And racism and eugenics are definitely woven into the patterns of our discourse, scientific and otherwise.
Oof. Academic IQ researchers are publishing so much racist bullshit that AI algorithms are reproducing it without question.
At some point we need to talk about the fact that quack IQ research is damaging to science in general (let along to society)

Fully agree. I started writing with an in-person group almost a year ago and it's done wonders. I am halfway through a novel, which is a lot further than I've ever gotten without a hype team.
Here's some writing advice you don't hear often: Straight up talk to other writers about what they're working on. The amount of joy you can gain as a creative person by just hearing the struggles and triumphs of your peers is so rewarding. It's helped me more than a thousand dumb "tips and tricks"
