I just had the same thought seeing PA passed the CROWN act. Too many laws basically forcing Americans with decision-making responsibilities to treat black people as fellow human beings.

A new bill will head to Congress to prevent women from being turned away or sent home from a hospital while in active labour. This is after a video circulated of a Black woman who was dismissed from a hospital, only to give birth in her truck minutes later on the side of the road.

I genuinely feel bad for the guy
Ive always thought the expression "dead to me" was hyperbole. Until someone I cared about went maga. I now think of him as even more impossible to connect with than actual dead people.

I'm also mad about being forced to lie by omission like what draws you to a particular gig isnt heavily influenced by lack of other options. My next cover letter: How many openings are there in this field/city? Sure, but realistically halve that. Well thats why I'm trying to get this one.

Like, if it made sense to apply to one job, wait for an answer, then apply for another one I could tentatively afford to hype myself up over one specific gig. But thats not realistic for anyone.

I resent the way job applications make you write a love letter to that specific job as if you're not being forced to say the same thing in other applications when he main thing is simply to earn money to live on. Its cruelty.

If I were writing the law & order version of the current administration, the files have something in them that connects the dots on epstein's "suicide" and 🍊💩 sees consequences for that but never for the girls

My horoscope for today said "not to ignore red flags just because I want to be in love." Not sure how to apply that advice to doing laundry and comfort-rewatching frasier. It wouldve been nice to have had that heads up on several saturday nights in my 20s tho.

Guys, I'm starting to think maybe Epstein didn't die from suicide and also unrelatedly maybe the president is not a good guy.

It never occured to me that some girls who ran around with older guys when I was in high school were in fact being groomed and raped by adult men. I was not cute and a late bloomer so to even talk to a boy over 18 was an event in my cornball adolesence

Its wild to get older and realize how acutely an adult knows a child when we see one. the "fastest" most mature 15 yr old is obviously only 15. It makes me sicker to see society debate this every time another man preys on teens, which is about every 5-10 years since I was that age.

I'm not religious so it took an old jeopardy clue about jesus' miracles for it to click that feeding people was important enough for jesus to do several feeding the people miracles in the bible, yet its the ppl insisting theyre good christians intent on making sure the hungry do not get fed.
