So I am in Mexico, and there are two types of Americans here:
The ones you often see, treating the locals like a servant society, who might as well just wear their #Maga hats around the resort.
But I've also encountered many who are grateful to be welcomed despite what's going on at home. It's nice.

Leaving for a Mexican vacation in 36 hours, and suddenly the resort's FB is full of people worried about cartels supposedly "targeting Americans." Now I have a dilemma!
A) Reassure them that it's all BS

1/2 There is a very simple fact that American governments, and many of their citizens, seem to have a very hard time grasping:
U.S. LAW ENDS AT THE U.S. BORDER.
It's bad enough we allow them to carry firearms in U.S. preclearance zones at some Canadian airports. They are NOT law enforcement here.
