Witnessed another near-miss accident at the junction of New Road and Park Road in Kingston this morning. Not sure if there've been (m)any actual accidents since it went one-way, but something surely needs to be done to make it safer.

Petersham playground in Richmond Park is set to (finally) reopen on Saturday. Nearly everything in it looks new, and looks like a lot more wood used than the old equipment.

Bus services in Kingston still being hammered by the lane closures on the one way system. No progress update from council, so not sure if there's been much any creative thinking to mitigate the problem (for example traffic wardens directing traffic &/or temporarily making Birkenhead Avenue one way)?

The coronation stone displayed in Kingston upon Thames, location of many Saxon coronations. This sarsen stone recovered from the ruins of St Mary’s church, which collapsed in 1730. Possibly wishful thinking to call it the coronation stone, but you never know 🤷‍♀️ #kingston #anglosaxon #saxon #saxonking
