I think robots are great in stories. But, IRL, I side eye their intent once they become conscious. Always be nice to the robots and electronics!

No. Without a doubt, I would hate everything about it except the clothes and maybe (and it's a big maybe) the food. I enjoy my modern comforts too much to be stuck in 14th-16th century Romania, Hungary, Wallachia...Basically the Ottoman Empire.

Yes! My book is historical fiction and based on Vlad the Impaler and his family. I do make references to Dracula a la Bram Stoker; but, for the most part, it's the historical figures. I also mention Bran Castle, foods and clothes from the time period, & even things like how makeup & soap is made!

Depends on which MC, but I think most of them would be like the ones from the anime where the robots kill everyone after they gain consciousness. Can't think of the name, but that's what they'd be.

All my characters are violent and want to draw blood.

It's a book that takes place in the future! After World War 5, humans discover they can use magic. Centuries later, Magic & tech mix in the new world. One of the MMCs has bionic limbs due to a health condition that originated in the womb. There may be a subplot regarding humans vs. androids too...

I knit my brow in confusion. From my studies, his greeting means welcome, or God has brought you. Neither seem relevant in this context. I look to Valentina, wondering if she’ll correct him.
