Welp, this was what should be my last race weekend of the year. I had the pleasure of working three different series in 2025: Porsche Sprint Challenge, Mustang Cup and SRO. I’m excited to get home but also proud of how this year went 💛

Honestly I gotta agree with Piastri that he looked alongside with plenty of time for it to be recognized by Antonelli. The only reason I think this whole thing went south is it was 3 wide. So I say aggressive but within the bounds. Racing incident.

Well I’ll be damned… IRP held rounds for IMSA on their road course into the 90s. I learned something new.

The more I consider the whole max/lewis incident, the more astounded I am no action was taken on max. You clatter into another driver to make the pass. Said driver actually stays on track instead of cutting the corner. You cut the corner then choose to defend rather than give it back and that’s ok??
Whew lots of thoughts on Mexico. First off, Leclerc probably should have had to hand 2nd back after the start. Second, while I 100% agree with Lewis getting a time penalty for cutting the corner, Max should have gotten the same for T3 that lap. Some serious bullshit there.

It is not hard to show respect to your fellow racers. It is so extremely little effort to adjust to refer to someone the way they prefer and zero loss to you to do so. Trans racers deserve better than this and I stand with them on expecting better from the racing community
very sure you meant to say man i need to pit matt, you really needed to think long and hard about that
then chat says "you never know these days"
feels great every time I'm in a split with you I feel unsafe, especially when it's someone with as much influence as you :)

Gettin’ real tired of seeing comments like “Americans don’t like F1 or racing in general.”
Fuck off with that. There’s a whole lot of us and if people would share that joy with others instead of turning their noses up, they’d be surprised at how many folks like racing.

Another amazing weekend getting to call the Indy 8 Hours. I honestly didn’t think I’d get to do this years race until a couple months ago when things just fell into place. And got to bring my lovely wife to the awards banquet for the first time!💛

I was at my nephew’s bday party this morning. For many years, this is what my mom did for a living: telling stories to kids. She was very much an influence on me getting into race commentary. I didn’t realize it until I was older, but I just love telling a good story.

A great thread. Gettin’ real tired of old people forgetting they were once the younger generation and little has changed. Young people find the same racing exciting that we did as kids. Stop acting like they need everything in 10 second TikTok clips.
Been thinking on F1 and I think their issue is they don't respect the younger audience or make any time to understand them

Just saw someone complain about Lewis skipping the tire test to tend to his dog. Like… I don’t know how to tell you this, but people have a deep love for their pets. If you haven’t experienced that, I can’t help you empathize. Some things are more important than work

I’m dead serious when I say Hadjar would be well served to find a way out of his Red Bull contract and get a ride with another team. Being promoted has a couple years of proof now that it’s a step backwards.

Honestly, our bosses at both Porsche and USAC make me feel so appreciated and valued 🥹
Not blowing smoke, they’ve been incredible in the two years I’ve gotten to know them. They took a big chance on someone like me so green to real race calls and it’s been a complete joy.
